Huma attained her Master of Manual Therapy from the University of Western Australia. She brings to SSMC a wealth of expertise in the management and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries.

Having worked at Singapore Sports Council (SSC) for over 7 years, she is no stranger to the Sports scene in Singapore. She played a pivotal role in establishing evidence based rehabilitation protocols and was involved in conducting the SSC’s Basic & Advanced Sports Trainers and Basic Sports Science courses. She also mentored physiotherapy students from the Nanyang Polytechnic. She has worked with the Singapore Sailing, Swimming, Silat, Athletics , Shooting and Bowling teams and was an integral part of TEAM Singapore for the 2007 and 2013 South East Asia Games, 2007 World Silat Championship, 2010 Youth Olympic Games and 2013 Asian Youth Games.

Prior to this, she served as Consultant Physiotherapist to the Indian Women’s Cricket team, the All Indian Lawn Tennis Association, The Maharashtra State Karate Do Federation and the Air India Women’s Hockey team.

Huma emphasises injury prevention and couples this with a holistic approach towards exercise and manual therapy.
